Just wanted to throw this out there, i'm thinking about restoring my 63 from a driver to a show car some day, how much would this set me back to drop in a nice complete fuel injected motor with dist., air cleaner, etc.?

Do you have anything now? Is the engine simply to be rebuilt or will you find one and re-stamp it? If you have an empty engine bay I would say $20,000.- Top

Ron, as I am in the middle of restoring an NCRS "correct" FI engine I can tell you that the eBay price that Edward mentioned is pretty dog gone close, if not on the low end. Add $2,500+ for the air cleaner.

I'd guess $8,000 for a rebuilt 370 block FI engine, including FI distributor, $5,000 for a used FI unit, $3,000 to rebuild the FI unit, $800 for base plate, $2,500 for an air cleaner, $1,500 for RH exhaust manifold (I doubt you can find one), $300 for LH manifold, total ~$21,100- Top
