    63 complete fuel injected motor

Just wanted to throw this out there, i'm thinking about restoring my 63 from a driver to a show car some day, how much would this set me back to drop in a nice complete fuel injected motor with dist., air cleaner, etc.?

Do you have anything now? Is the engine simply to be rebuilt or will you find one and re-stamp it? If you have an empty engine bay I would say $20,000.

Ron, that engine I believe was a early one.

Ron, as I am in the middle of restoring an NCRS "correct" FI engine I can tell you that the eBay price that Edward mentioned is pretty dog gone close, if not on the low end. Add $2,500+ for the air cleaner.

just checked in jack powell's web site to get an idea what the air cleaners are now going for, you are right on target paul, his price is at $2495

I'd guess $8,000 for a rebuilt 370 block FI engine, including FI distributor, $5,000 for a used FI unit, $3,000 to rebuild the FI unit, $800 for base plate, $2,500 for an air cleaner, $1,500 for RH exhaust manifold (I doubt you can find one), $300 for LH manifold, total ~$21,100

Whoops, my bad, must be the flu making me more dizzy than normal. I'm sitting here with the attached photo in front of me, typing 370, duh. Thanks Mike
