Re: 1967 427/435 Coupe on Fast N' Loud
BINGO -- That's the GM Canada Monthly Import Shipping sheet that the guy is waving in the video; advance to around 1min:34sec. Amazing -- it's the original sheet, missing the top third; not even a photocopy. Click on link in post # 9 of this Corvette Forum thread:
VIN 80xx, silver/black leather, dealer 86637, full tint, A31, A82, A85, F41AC, G81NA (3.70's), J50MA, K66DA, L71AA, M21AA, N14AB, N36AA, N89AA, QB1AA, U15AC, U69HA, V48AA.
Guess you could say it was loaded
. Can't remember who #86637 was, but it was a large Chevrolet dealer in Montreal, Quebec.
Now here's the weird part; the same dealer ordered two more silver coupes; one 81 VIN #'s later; identical to subject car except standard black vinyl interior and no speed warning.
The third silver car was another 16 VINs later, A01, A31, A82, A85, G81YA .... the second line of code is missing from the bottom of the microfiche, but the 'YA' suffix on the posi seems to indicate a L36 or L68 automatic.
