    70 Wiper Motor wires

There are two wires near my wiper motor that need a home. One is yellow, one dark blue, both maybe 18 guage and have pin type ends. I found them in the AIM UPC 12, sheet D2 but still don't know what to do with them. They're center in the picture sticking up to the left near the washer port.

Tom looking at your windshield wiper motor from the picture you posted the blue wire goes in on the left and the yellow wire goes in on the right of the plastic buldge near the wires. These wires will make the windshield and headlight washer pump fluid. How many ports do you have on your washer pump? An original 1970 came with five ports, one supply and one for each wiper and one for each headlight.

See that little rectangular "extension" protruding off the front (facing) surface of the black plastic dust cover for the wiper motor? It's the part of the dust cover that's to the left of the open ring connector in your photo. They have corresponding connectors underneath. One wire goes on each connector, from the outside end towards the center. These power your w/shield washers.

Man this was difficult to describe. Hopefully, you can get the gist of what I'm trying to describe. Hope this helps!

My pump is the original and has five ports. I'll try again to find where the wires go in - can you tell me, do they plug in below the plastic cover or to one side or another? It's tight quarters in there.
