Location of voltage regulator and horn relay 1964 factory air condition

I have tried to search for pictures showing if the volt regulator is sitting on the left inner fender or on the left side radiator support with not the best of luck
I have seen 1965 and newer with the voltage regulator located on the left inner fender but i think the regulator are located on the radiator support on a 1963 and 64
My car have the voltage regulator and horn relay located at the left side radiator support so i just want to be sure that it is on the right location

Is there any here that have a picture showing the the voltage regulator and horn relay for a 1964 factory AC

Claus -- have you looked at Noland Adams 1964 section, page 218 ? There's a drawing which I assume is from the '64 AIM, which shows the volt reg on the left fender, using holes drilled at the existing dimples in the fiberglass, just like 1965 MY. Another note says to fill the corresponding 3 pre-drilled holes (for non-air cars) on the right fender with cement.

Yes i have seen that picture.
I have also seen a couple of pictures of 1965 and newer cars having the resistor located on the left inner fender but i think it is supposed to be located on the radiator support on a 1964
It looks like that on 2 pictures but it is not easy to see because the pictures was of poor quality and almost did not show the resistor

This is a picture of a 1963 but you cant see the voltage resistor(but it looks like it is placed on the radiator support since it is not shown on the left inner fender)

Claus, both were mounted on radiator support on 64 vin 8477.

And that's on the right side for non AC cars. Although the AIM shows it mounted similar to a 65 - do not believe that change ever took place on even late 64's. Have seen some late 64's and mounting has always been on right radiator support. Do a search on regulator and you will find some good pictures. See 64 Ground - voltage reg to horn relay

Alan. Yes i know the voltage regulator and horn relay is mounted on the rights side for non AC cars
I would think a factory AC car will have the voltage regulator and horn relay mounted like a non AC car and the only difference is that the factory AC car have it the voltage regulator and horn relay mounted
on the left side on the radiator support

The assembly manual shows the voltage regulator and horn relay mounted like on the picture posted by Joseph but i have not seen it like that on any pictures when doing a search
for 1964 factory AC cars on the internet

Dan. So having the voltage regulator and horn relay mounted on the left side radiator support is correct for my December 5`th 1963 built car?

Yes, my AC 64 was built Jan 7, 64.

The picture to the left is of a 1964 with factory AC
The picture to the right is from the assembly manual and shows the voltage regulator located on the left inner fender and i think the assembly manual is wrong since (it might be a change for late 1964)
the pictures i have seen of 1964 factory AC cars have the voltage regulator and horn relay located like on the left picture
