1965 Corvette Frame Pull Date

I am restoring a 1965 Corvette Coupe, the juding manual states that the frame pull date is specified in MM-DD-YY format, however in Nolan Adams book he clearly shows frames being pulled and assembled with the pull date of 20-9-65 which to me is a DD-MM-YY format. Is there any definitive answer on this I wuold like to get it correct on my restoration.

If you use a magnifying glass and look in the far background in the photo in Noland's book you'll see that the stack of frames in the background have the date MM-DD-YY. So the date format was done both ways, depending on the style used by the different people who wrote the dates on the frames.

Jim that's great! Do you have the shipping data for your car?

That would give the good idea of what the difference would be from the frame pull date to the ship date?
