I thought that terminal was to provide 12V (wthout resistance) to the coil while cranking only and was one of the two wires attached to the same terminal at the coil. One wire was the resistance wire (or run through the ballast) and the other comes from the starter with full voltage during cranking. If I am mistaken, someone please correct me. In the case of a TI equipped car and no ballast, Is a resistor wire used or does it use full voltage? I have no experience with TI and was just curious. Chip.
