I'm going to install freeze plugs also. I was told they are 7/16 plugs. Advance auto told me they have them in stock. Is 7/16 the right size?

        Brandon,

Normally I do all of my own work, including carbs. The original carb on my 71 LS5 had a stripped fuel inlet that I wanted repaired correctly. I used Custom Rebuil Carbs in NJ. I had them fix the fuel inlet and rebuild the carb while it was there. When I got the carb back on the car, after a very minor mixture adjustment, the car ran great. I was very pleased with the wrok they did as well as the cost.

        My 0.02.

It is a year or so ago since I did it. 7/16 sounds about right. The are cheep if you get the wrong size.
