I am getting ready to FINALLY put the body of the big brake car back on its frame and I noticed that I only have 7 of the 10? fiberglass washers that go under the body mount bolts. Does anyone have a few that they would sell? Thanks folks!

I always thought the body mounts were made of rubber, steel and a form of cardboard. Does a big brake car have different material? Did you remember to write down how many were taken out of each spot? I would think you would want to replace with new material unless the originals are from a very low milage car stored in a climate controlled space.

Terry, He means the apx 2" diam x apx 1/8" thick fiberglass disks that are inside above the floor. Bolt head, steel washer, fg disk, then that assy through the floor to the frame, with the cardboard/metal shims between body bottom and frame.
I think the factory was inconsistent in how many disks were used. The AIM does not show them. A 1959 I last did originally used only two, in the rear inner floor mount positions. None were in the trunk mount bolts.
My guess is the workers installed them if they felt the floor was thin at certain mount positions.
