    68 L71 427 Belt Configuration question?

I have a bad belt skweek, and the alternator belt seems a little angled to the PS pump. I thought I had the belts set up correctly, but thougth I would double check. Does the Alternator belt go on the forward groove on the PS Pump (in front of the crank pulley belt) or does the crank pulley belt go forward of the alternator belt on the PS Pump pulley?

any better diagrams than the Assembly Manual?

    Thanks for any help!

The alternator belt should align to the FORWARD groove of the power steering pump pulley. The REAR groove of the power steering pump pulley should align to the second groove of the waterpump pulley and forward groove of the crank pulley.
