C2 Reproduction distributor cap

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with reproduction distributor caps for C2's? There is one on EBAY that claims to be "exactly like the originals in each detail". [http://www.ebay.com/itm/190486452056] No R on the cap and licensed by GM Restoration Parts. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It looks better than some I have seen, although pictures don't show the depth of characters very well. I'm also uncertain about the finish on the door over the points adjusting screw, although perhaps just lighting...One firsthand look is worth a dozen pictures.

It looks like aluminum contacts to me. The originals were brass or copper, not something you would notice with the wires plugged in.

I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the one and only time I delt with this vendor. I bought a set of original 62 wheels from him and not even a pair in the bunch.

Beg to differ, but NO GM product certified for Road use used copper distributor contacts in the cap from 1958-up with the single window-adjustable distributor. The D-308 is correct with aluminum contacts.

I noticed that too. Would be nice to have a photo of that area to the right of the window.

Unless he has gone to China again, this is coming from the same mold as the others and there is a noticeable area by the door that is very different. Who has asked he post the picture
