'96 Windshield LOF Logo Pic Needed

Would someone please post (or send a PM/email) a picture of their '95 or '96 windshield logo? I had a picture but have somehow "misfiled" it. I need to see the exact layout of all the DOT, date codes, etc. around the logo.

    Thanx

Thanx Paul. Is that a GU date code? - I'm having a little trouble making out the first character. If it is G - April, was this car built in May or June of '96?

I know you want a 1996 but try this one.

Off a 1995 with an August 4, 1994 build date.

Thanx Pat. All examples are welcomed. That difference is about the same as the side glass on my '96. Glass date code is YY (Oct/95) and car build date is 12/22/95.

Take a look at what you have to decipher for the rear hatch.

This causes a little confusion at judging time.

I have a vert. We vert owners have to hold a transparent template over a series dots to decode the "secret" date. i.e. like using the secret decoder ring we used to get in that box of Captain Crunch.

Hang on to that template Floyd. C6s (at least 2008) windshields have something like that. I am not sure we will ever get to judging those, but I had the decoder for my windshield but lost it to a computer virus. If I thought we were going to judge C6s in my lifetime I would go back to my source, but alas I doubt that will happen.

Does anyone know why the date code sequence for the year seems to skip three years and when this occurred? for example, the character 'Y' was used for 59 and 72 on the 13 year cycle we associate with C1's, C2's and C3's. Continuing on that sequence we would have: 59, 72, then 85 and 98 but Y is used for '95. Somewhere along the line we missed 3 years. '94 (N) and 96 (U) are also "off" the sequence by three years.
