1954 - Early Production Seat Frame Identification
Greetings,
I need some help in identifying the correct drivers seat frame for my early production 1954.
My car was pretty much disassembled when I got it - it was missing the convertible top frame and drivers seat frame but it did have the drivers seat cushions. In my initial reseach I determined that there were several running changes on the top frames which affects other items such as the trim molding around the seat and the seat frame. So with the help of others I purchased the correct top frame that would have been correct with the use of my "flipper" trim moldings. I also found a seat frame which I purchased (this was 3 years ago). Now it seems there were two seat frames that were used as well.
I need help in identifying if I had purchased the correct seat frame or if the one I have pictured is for use with the later convertible top frame which did not use the "flipper" moldings. I expect that I may have the wrong one but could someone help confirm this.
Next question would be if it is not correct can I use this with the early driver seat cushion back or do I need to sell this and search out a correct frame?
