    Ujoints For a '65

I am senidng my trailing arm assemblies off my '65 Coupe (TF 11/12) to Bair's for a rebuild. I would like to change out the Ujoints on the half-shafts. The judging manual says these ujoints need to be those wtihout a grease fitting. Can some of you folks direct me to the best place to purchase the most correct Ujoints? Thanks for any help.

If you don't want to buy NOS or used originals, I believe Zip sells a reasonable facsimile.

      Mike,

Check the archives for the half shaft Federal Mogul u-joint part #'s, they are the same as the currect GM parts because they make them for GM. The driveshaft part # is Federal Mogul precision u-joint #269, super strength, (no jerk fitting).

These F/M joints do NOT have a jerk fitting and are stronger than the joints with fitting. Original joints also did NOT have a jerk fitting.

Rock Auto has them for $11.17 each. Do a search for a discount code to save even more off that price.

For what it's worth, I only use Spicer solids, 5-1350x. Not correct but have withstood a lot of abuse in our cars, I use them up to 750hp with 3.5" shafts. Again probably not what you are looking for but if you want what I think is the best on the market now, these would be them.
