63 Owners Guide

My 63 is an April build and I have what appears to be the original owners guide.
It is a 2nd edition (correct for this build date) but the cover is a light blue tone (correct for 1st edition !)
Appears never apart as the staples are rusted and the same rust marks on the cover and inside pages.
Any ideas? I lost points @ the last NCRS judging due to this.
Only wish to understand what is correct.

Tim,

I'd suggest that you scan the front and back covers and post them here. Also if you would scan page 27 at high resolution (just the interior pic) and post that, we might be able to tell you what version you've got there.

I've never seen two different covers for different editions in any year. Something doesn't sound right.
