          Nope...long gone...since about 1988.

17K wow...yours sounds like a nice car. It's just too bad the 84 was so underpowered. I think thats why you see very few original cars. C4 prices are certainly low right now. You can even find a nice ZR-1 in the $20K which which seems like a real value in the long haul.

Joe, a member on the c4 registry told me i should ask you about the part numbers on the wheel for a 84 corvette. the only numbers i show for them is 14069517 and 1406 9518 8.5 the 9.5 shows 1408 and so forth. i have talked to several people that bought there 84 new and kept there original wheels some of them has told me their part numbers start out with 1404 and so forth. for the 8.5 no one seams to know about this number. can you help. I'm trying to get my 84 for a ncrs national top flight. my car when i got it it had a set of saw blades wheels on it with adapters. about the battery will i get hurt on points with the ac delco replacement. also my tires. the new ones have the correct specs. I'm new to the vette seen i don't mean to be stupid. but i could use your help.thank you Joe.

                Jonney-----

The original wheel part numbers are as follows:

                GM #14069517-----front, left side, 16 X 8.5, stamped DY

                GM #14069518-----front, right side, 16 X 8.5, stamped DZ

                GM #14069519-----rear, left side, 16 X 9.5, stamped FJ

                GM #14069520-----rear, right side, 16 X 9.5, stamped FK

Curiously, the parts information strongly implies that 8.5" front wheels and 9.5" rear wheels were used on all 1984's. Of course, if 8.5" were used on the rear, they would be the same as the front left and right wheels.
