You should have told the woman to to tell her husband to spend his money/time on the Healey. It would be worth more than the Vette if both were fully restored.

      Re: 1964 Barn Find

I have always wondered why the '64s have always been the red-headed step children of the C2s. Brakes? Design? Don't seem that different than '63s to justify the price differentials.

They don't have a Split Rear Window. No other reason.

I'd say the first year (1963) and last year (1967) of things are worth a bit of a premium also. That is really the only explanation for 63 vs 64 Convertible price difference.

Right, I guess I should be celebrating the discount, for instance, ever seen the huge difference between '63 and '64 FI tankers?

does she have to be widowed? I sold our 57 250 3 speed 210 a couple years ago. although not a widow, she was a real 57 pass car FI with its born with drivetrain. she now lives in florida. mike

No, doesn't have to be an official one, but I was looking for a '57 150 with FI.

Don't know if it qualifies as a "barn find", but does anyone recall the particulars about the 67 L88 coupe that had about 12 miles on it?It was in a magazine, maybe Corvette News, late 60's or early 70's- Car was completely disassembled to be prepared for racing-maybe.
There were pictures of it in many pieces in a barn or building!

That was the car that Lincoln Corvettes bought.
