Side mirrors

I replaced my side mirrors on my 71. I was wondering if the old mirrors are of any value to anyone out there. They look good but were a little lose I think and the glass on the ride side had some damage. They are coded: 5-DM1-5. See pics. Thank, Ed

As Terry stated the mirror heads look to be wider then a 1971 mirror. The wider mirror which occurred in 1975 and the dates you have indicated 5 DMI 5 is May 1975 or 85. But I would think 1975 is most likely the case.

THANKS FOR RESPONSES. BOTH MIRROR ARE THE SAME SIZE. THEY ARE THE LARGER SIZE MIRRORS. If 1975 would they be real ones or repros?

IMO -- there is no way to tell. Although I am not sure they are making reproductions of the larger glass. My statement about the reproduction details pertains to the earlier, smaller, glass. I have no knowledge of what is available for the 1975> mirrors.

I believe there would be interest somewhere. If I was restoring a late production '75, I'd definitely be interested. I'd either hold onto them or advertise.
