Heat/Noise Floorpan Wrap - Pros and Cons

I'm considering installing a thermo blanket (Eastwood) against the floorpan before the new carpeting and would appreciate comments as whether the product is worth the expense and if it impacts judging. I still have the jute material from the original carpeting. Thanks...Clark

Several good articles in past Restorers magazines about floor insulation. The one I wrote in 2008 had heat test results in it. Best heat reduction material I found was http://www.hushmat.com/

You will lose points if the judges see it or detect it. You will also never get it off once you put it in.
