Re: 67' Removing door windows?
Dave,
I assume you want to remove the side roll down glass on convertible. Yes access to hardware thru access panel openings for the fasteners holding the sash to the roll up mechanism. Also access hole for forward nut. But it is a lot easier to remove the two screws at the back of the door securing the rear track first. Then remove the two nuts securing the sash. This allows tip to release studs from roll up mechanism. Lift out window from top tip to pass stud past the top of door lip and trim. Let us know if you are interested in removal of vent glass as the whole assembly removal makes it easier to just take out glass from stainless trim sash. Convertible is much easier than coupe..........- Top

Re: 67' Removing door windows?
Gene,
It is a convertible and I am doing a frame off restoration, so I am interested in knowing how to do the whole assembly removal. I assume you roll the window completely up to to get your hands in the access panel. If you could shed more light on this whole process that would be great!
