    Dash Wiring on a 66

I am pulling out a custom stereo system for my 66 and installing an original speaker and radio. When I pulled out the glove box I found two pigtail wire connections folded over and stuffed behind.

The first had a blue, white, and orange connection three way plug. The second wiring set had a orange, white, blue and brown connection. Anyone know where they are to go? I can't fathom that their was anything in that area to serve and their purpose.

    Thank you for any assistance.

    Dan

      Dan -

Your car has air conditioning, and those two connectors are in the base dash harness for the heater resistor and heater control switch on a standard heater car; on an A/C car, those two connectors were taped back out of the way, as they weren't needed. See your Assembly Manual, section C60, sheet E8, item #2, tape.
