Re: 67 5935
I digitally flipped the P-o-P image and rotated it for easier reading.

Re: 67 5935
The 2nd left line code (V1207...) has Engine stamping info
The 3rd left line code (P7...) has Transmission stamping info
The right middle line code (AK...) has Differential stamping info
My car was built just a week or so before this one, so it's very interesting stuff.- Top

Re: 67 5935
The top left line code (41...) has Trim Tag info, i.e. color and interior
The 2nd left line code (V1207...) has Engine stamping info
The 3rd left line code (P7...) has Transmission stamping info
The right middle line code (AK...) has Differential stamping info
My car was built just a week or so before this one, so it's very interesting stuff.

Re: 67 5935
I would guess eBay PoP's would be EXTREMELY valuable to two vastly different market segments:
1) Owner's looking for provenance for their legitimate car
2) Owner's looking to eliminate incriminating evidence
Gee I wonder which would be more valuable?- Top

Re: 67 5935
Yes, there are other reasons to buy if cheap enough since I've seen/heard of people that bought them for novelty purposes and/or hoping to eventually find the guy who fits either #1 or #2. That context would obviously not result in "EXTREMELY valuable" though. Personally if I had a PoP and the owner fit scenario #1, I'd give it them free.- Top
