Hi, i'm looking for a pair of door sills for a 66 corvette, does anyone know who makes them ncrs correct for judging?

Morris - the Trim Parts reproductions are good for judging (correct ribs & spacing). I bought mine from Corvette Central. Use your original screws if possible. The judges will check that the heads do not protrude above the sill plate at all. The heads on the reproduction sill plates are too large and therefore set above the height of the sill plate. Tim

My 65 has the original sills and screws . The screws are not flush with the sill plate .

MORRIS THE SCREWS YOU WANT ARE AVAILABLE @ ANY GM DEALERSHIP ... YOU WANT CHROME #8 X 3/4 SCREWS .TRIM HEAD...WE HAVE THEM HERE @ THE BIG BLUE OVAL STORE..MOST DEALERSHIPS HAVE AN ASSORTMENT OF THESE.. PETER ..THEY MAY BE OVERSIZED SO ASK FOR A #10 3/4 TRIM HEAD SCREWS...MINE WERE OF THE LARGER VARIETY...

First question I have - what is the part number called for in your AIM??
(now to violate my question - bet a 10-6 X 1 with a #8 head is what was expected which may or may not be correct)
