    My Winter Meet Experience

I just got back from our Winter Meet Regional in Orlando, Florida. My wife and I had a great time and I want to thank Thom and the rest of the Florida Chapter members for putting on an excellent meet. My car Top Flighted for the second year in a row, this time with a 98%. The C4 judges and Team Leader Tom Barr did a very good job in judging the C4 cars. I really enjoyed meeting several of my NCRS C4 friends and getting better acquainted with them. All C4 cars received a Top Flight Award and were very well represented.

Once again, the NCRS organization shined.

Ed, Very well done. Great experience and great C4's. If you need freycheck, go to Walmart sewing dept. Well it's time to start making corrections for PV. Hope to see you at a future event.

Thanks Paul. I'm going to get some of that freycheck, it's a nice tool to have in my arsenal. It was nice getting together with you and the rest of the C4 suspects (lol). You have an amazing car and it's going to go very far. Just keep pursuing the impossible, PERFECTION.

Indeed, it was nice to put a face to a name of the usual C4 suspects. The C4 was well represented and all the C4 Corvettes were well prepared.

Thanks for letting me take the photos of your Corvette.

        See you all soon.

          Congrats Ed.

Vince Lombardi said "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence." That's a great aspiration for our Corvettes, and for life in general.

                        Re: My Winter Meet Experience

Sorry to be so late in responding to the thread, we didn't come straight home and have been swamped since. It was great to shake hands with the folks who are so quick to respond to the C4 questions on this forum and see their cars. I don't think any of the six late C4s recieved 100 deduction points - they were all very well prepared. Did anyone get a deduct for frayed seatbelt stitching?

I look forward to seeing some/all of the C4 gang at the SE Regional where we'll give PV a try. I only have one issue to work on and I believe it is referred to a the AC actuator - moved too slowly between floor/face/windshield.

Hey, I'm in that second picture - the ugly guy holding the cup of starbucks.

                              Ed,
Thanx for the tip on the wheel locking kit bag. I just got mine from the same source and for the same great price. Thanx for bringing your car, I learned a lot from it and have pages of notes to be used in getting my LT4 vert ready for next year.
