72 Compartment Door Thickness

Can anyone tell me what the thickness was for the compartment doors on a 72? I have reached the stage of my Vette that I need to start rebuilding the rear storage area. Unfortunately, when I got the car someone had already ripped the doors off (at least thats what it looks like) and I've had to replace the frame and all. I am planning on using MDF to make the doors out of. Also Does anyone know of a template for making the latch hole on the doors?

The doors were sold new by vendors at one time and would save alot of work.
