Re: 1965 restoration
You’re not the only one, believe me....Bought mine '65 in 1977 when I was 19. I drove it till 1984 then it sat in the garage. I'm having a great time doing the work, it's not even like work. A slow process but I would like to have it drivable by the time the car is 50. That leaves me about 2 years to the day to get her done.
Mike
Though mine's a 67, I bought it in 73, drove it an my only car until 78.
I took it totally apart in 83 (body off) then moved it from the east to the west coast in 84.
I started back on it in 2012, damn racecars.
Opening up cardboard boxes of parts was like Christmas, especially since half the parts were already cleaned up.- Top
