63 body-off /chassis

What are the control arm concave washers and bolts finish . Semi black or Cad. Are the bolts blackened?

Tom, The control arm washers and bolts are painted with the control arms, I think semi gloss.

Thanks Ed, My judging manual is 2nd edition winter of 1994, Chev assembly and parts manual is sept 1975. Some of the hardware is not spect out. Would you know the coil spring length. Both of mine measure 15 3/16" Tom

Tom, about all I know on the 63 front springs is there are 7 coils. the replacements had more coils, so if you have 7 coils, There original. also Did you note any tags afixed to the springs?

I believe Harry Sadlock has the measurements on 63 spring if you want to send him a PM.
