    1959 corvette shocks

I just purchased a new set of shocks from ZIP and they are black and have a ACDELCO on them but they are also stamped or engraved made in Mexico. I asked Paragon if they had original shocks and they said just replacements. What do you do for new shocks? The JM says dipped in black paint. Do you modify the shocks and dip them??? Pat McPherson

    Patrick,
Remove the label, paint them black and install them so you can't read the made in Mexico.
Or you can body work the made in Mexico and then paint.
The parts you bought are typical of what the Corvette vendors are selling these days.
