First I want to thank everyone that responded to my post last week and discussed the car I was looking to buy. The guideance was very helpful and all were very nice. Bought it yesterday from a good friend so I know what I am getting. 1964 Sting Ray convertable, 365hp, Riverside red, black vinyl interior. No customizing done and anything replaced was with genuine parts within the correct dates. Engine block, frame and transmission #s match. It had been repainted a while ago, has some paint splits and a chip here and there but that is fine. It does not appear to have had any majot body work done. I plan on driving it and who knows maybe someday will repaint it.Took lots of pictures but I also need a new camera so I don't have much worthwhile to share. My buddy keeps it under wraps and lives two hours from here so I will bring it home in the spring when the salt is washed off the roads. Again thanks everyone. Mike

Re: I bought the 64'
Congratulations, Michael. Sounds like a great acquisition. How can you hold off until Spring before getting it home? Hope you will post some pictures when you're able.

Excellent, very nice, drive and enjoy, especially that symphonic, beautiful melody of the solid lifters as they hum away under the hood. Forget the radio.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
