1972 Radiator Support Does Not Line Up

I'm having trouble putting in my radiator support for a 1972 big block. I purchased a replacement and think it might have a dimensional issue. I can't get the lower bolts to line up, the are off set to each side. I measured the one I took out and compared it to the new one and the mounting nuts are off set further out from the original, see pictures below. Anyone know where these nuts should be located in relation to the outside edge? I suspect I'll be sending this new radiator support back.

    Thanks

Jeff it sure looks as though your about 5or6 32ths off. who did you buy it from? There is a vender- Vette produsts of Michigan that has some of the original GM tooling for radiator supports.

I wonder if the support you have is for somthing other than a big block? If you have a AIM you might be able to see if there is a part no. difference.
