Duke, "it" refers to 10w30 wt. oil, if Harry prefers that wt. or to what was recommended by GM( refer to the 1966 Corvette Owner's Guide pg. 30) 10w30 is what the factory says to use at temps. above 0 degrees F.

With some of the new diesel engine oil specs that are being talked about, 10W-30 and even lighter weight oils should be readily available in the not too distant future

I bought CJ4 10w30 at Walmart. It wasn't available there two years ago but it is now. I don't like 15W40.

Dutch, you have my car(I looked up your profile) what color is yours ?, mine is Black/Silver but no K/O wheels, about the oil we have it here in Tx. at Wal Mart it is called Rotella T5. I would try them first.

Richard, it's Nassau Blue with blue and white interior (w) KO wheels. In 1989 My Vette was sold at Corvettes Of Houston. I wish that I knew who traded it in there. Dutch

Great color combo, have you tried calling David Nash 281-450-1322, he used to own CoH. He may be able to find the Po info for you.

Rotella T5 is semi-synthetic engine oil. Rotella T Triple is Conventional engine oil. Rotella T6 is Full Synthetic Engine Oil.
