    Fuel Fill Compartment Lettering

    I'm finalizing preparation for the Old Town Meet and see that the recessed lettering reading UNLEADED FUEL ONLY and PREMIUM RECCOMMENDED are a rather dull grey. I'm thinking they should be white. Any suggestions on how to bleach or paint the letters to get back to stock appearance?

    I'm also in the market for a correct gas cap for the late 1996 date coded 0016 to 1516 - any offers or suggestions also appreciated.
