    68 F41 Front Springs for L36

Did the AIM (0, A11) front springs list cover all the options? It looks like, for example, the L36 came standard with a 3931825 rated @250. then upped to a 3931826 rated @315. for the L36 with C60. Then there is no listing for the F41 option for a L36,with or without C60, or even any other cars that came with the F41. There is, however, a F41 listed for only the L71 and L88 and uses the 3832518 rated @500. I guess that would be beefy enough for any combination of options. I think the 69 AIM gives more combinations.

If the car had F-41, then it had the GM #3832518 springs regardless of what other options it might have had.

Thanks for responding as I think I screwed up assuming my car came with F41. My problem is that when I bought my car, L36 with C60, it had the springs front and rear for a F41 suspension. I then went out and got the correct shocks, big $$$$. My fear now is that the F41 was not even available as an option for all the Air Conditioned 68 BB because the AIM list only the L71 and L88as having the F41. To be correct and run tiyh what you said was most appropriate, not using F41 for street, I will need the standard base shocks and 9 leaf springs with those slightly heavier front 3931826 springs. I don't know where to start the hunt for these special BB with A/C front springs. What do they look like?

The F41 suspension could have been ordered on any 1968 Corvette so it is possible that your car had this originally installed. But if I remember correctly less then 10% of 68 production had this option it was mandatory on all L88 optioned cars-.

Thanks I can breath a little easier in that L36 with C60 and F41 was at least a pssibility. The car had some rather strange options anyway for a BB with C60. The first owner must have been anticipting working up a sweat without power barkes or steering in Ala in the summer.
