    Interpretation - 2nd Gen. Engineers/Gearheads

Looking at a January 1956 Chevrolet Engineering document, and a listing of specifications includes
"Auburn clutch" in exactly that manner. Is there a reason for the capital "A", are there minimum/maximum
parameters meanings for that phrase or ??? I'm trying to put myself back 57 years to when I was a sophomore and NOT a GM engineer.......and understand. Help!

Although I'm more intimately familiar with 'A burnt clutch', possibly they were referring to the Auburn Clutch Company and it's brand name

Auburn was a very popular performance clutch back then. I believe they were diaphragm clutches vs the Borg- Beck finger style used then by most.
