Second - that was the 5th generation, they are not correct for ANY Corvette, nor is this filter that simulates same. About 2 years ago I bought one when they were 30 dollars so I have a pretty good idea on where they come from. In the distant photos they look close to the 5th generation until you get them side by side. By the way, the filter paper, did you know that a bamboo fiber for the paper is different than what was used in the originals, and just for the novelty, the original paper was made in Rochester Michigan.

Matt, sweet, looks beautiful. And real for 65 mid/ late 66. After that...

It should have said Communist China. Has anyone ever seen anything from Communist China that they could associate with QUALITY. QUALITY and Communist China can not be used in the same sentence. Just one man's opinion.

The word reproduction part is grossly over used and abused. A reproduction in my mind is a duplicate ,a clone of a previously available part. Very few parts built today are anything more than a reasonable fact simile. Many don't even fit dimensionally much less passing cosmetic scrutiny. A very large percentage are made in Communist China and we all know they know nothing about quality control.
In the simplest comparison lets say you ask a Chines vendor to duplicate a Duncan Hines cake mix. The first thing they would do is see if it could be made with fewer eggs and less flower. Now it's not the same cake mix, but the vendor in America sells it to you and me as such. REASONABLE FACT SIMILE.
