C1 interior overspray
I'm wondering what items on the C1 interior were often found with interior overspray? On my 59 I found the floorpans mostly covered, though on other threads it was mentioend typically the floorpans are just found with overspray at the edges. I also found overspray on the cowl vent assembly and parking brake mechanism. I'm especially interested in what might have overspray on the firewall and underdash and how far up the paint should go. Also, should the heater box be painted black or raw cardboard?

Some of the interior judges at a recent meet were indicating the box should be painted black, but it seems just the threads should be black as original, as they are white on the current repops. Anyone else have any insight on interior overspray, or a good source to look at? I reviewed old posts and the restorer CD, but didn't see much...Comment
