Hood Release Broken 1955 Corvette
The hood release on the passenger side of my car came loose and that side of the hood will not open. Is there a way of opening the hood to correct the problem?

If you can't grab the cable with channel locks and pull, then remove the passenger side splash shield and reach up and pull back the receiver latch. -

IF you have long arms - you can reach up and press on the "tang" and open the hood.....
ask me how I know...

If you don't have long arms you can use a stick to push the release bar on the latch. Done that too. -Dan-Comment
