So I have been learning a lot from CorvetteForum about Restoring vs Keeping Original, etc.
Hoping to keep learning more. Still trying to decide if I want to keep it un-restored -or- fix it up here and there.
I currently have a New Muffler (MagnaFlow) waiting to be installed since the one on it is Rusted and not original either.
I changed the Stereo to one that Looks like the Original since the one in there was not Original either.

Generally the Corvette Forum is not known as a place to learn about originality or restoration.

Where in Michigan do you live?

Where in Michigan do you live?

Corvette Forum was the 1st Forum I found.
one of the Guys there pointed me to NCRS

In Saint Clair Shores until April then moving to Macomb.

I liked this particular 68 because I always wanted
1) Chrome Bumpers Front and Rear
2) T-Tops over Convertible
3) I was born in 68 as well
4) Mileage was Low and Everything was in working order at time of Purchase including Fiber Optics

Scott- same story with my 68, I was born in 68 as well and found a car that was born 3 days before me. This group has been great helping me sort out my car which was a very needy car. It is amazing how much information this group can provide to bring these cars back.

The Michigan Chapter is having a Judging School next Sunday (January 13th) at Cauley Performance, on the west side of Orchard Lake Road between 14 Mile Road and Maple (15 Mile Road), starting at 1:00 PM; come and get acquainted and join!

Do you have to live in Michigan to join the Michigan Chapter? I live about 2 miles from the Indiana/Michigan line. In many cases Michigan events are probably closer than Indiana's.

BTW Scott, I'm a newbie too...I've learned so much in the last 6 months from this site it's amazing.
