1967 427/390 Coil Spring Problem

I need to replace a set of reproduction 67 427/390 without A/C Coil Springs. They sit way too high and I want it to sit down on the tires like it should. I have been looking for a set of used originals to purchase, but I cannot find any. There are several companies selling replacement springs....the choices are many. I got mine from Vette Products of Michigan for my '66 BB roadster. Couldn't be happier with the fittment and stance of car.

Use original type F-41`s. It will be down in the weeds.

I purchase NOS coil springs for a '67 435 project. Very hard to find but the ride height was perfect. I have also had tremendous success with new coil springs from Detroit Eaton. I purchased a set of new reproductions from another '67 BBC car and the ride height was again, well within spec.

If you describe the spring you need in terms of length, number of coils and wire diameter this would help.

Ok, Here are some spec on the 3888250 Coil Springs I need. They have a free height of 17.35, The wire diameter is 0.600. and they are variable rate coil springs. Thanks Jeff

The top spring in this photo is a 3888250 (427). It looks just like a 3851100 (327), so make sure they are 17.35 long (3851100 are 16.88).

Here's an NOS (service) ...250 taken out of its original GM box. Got it at Carlisle a few years ago. Unfortunately, not a set.
