corvette race car??

a fellow by the name of ronald smith called me about a corvette that he thinks was a old race car so i told him to post here.

he says it is a big brake car with signs there was duct work to the rear brakes. he believes it was a FI car because the core supprt has the cold air opening. i believe he said it was a 61. it was his FIL car that his FIL bought used. he thinks it was a race car converted back to street.

If there was a different core support, it wouldn't have been a solid-axle car.
