1970 L-46 350/350 4-speed has a GM13 3839175 (S) on one side of the water pump and A34 on the other. Is this an original water pump? I saw in other questions that this number was from a 1963-1964 but also saw where someone else had one out of a 1970. So, just verifying that this is an original water pump out of my corvette. The engine is original and I just had it rebuilt. Previous owner stated that all numbers were matching to car. Car had 140,000 miles when I purchased in 2012 and the previous owner had it for 37 years. I'm assuming that this is the original water pump and will rebuild but would like to verify.

I HIGHLY doubt it's original. The 3839175 casting had an external bypass (probably plugged on yours with an NPT plug). I have NEVER seen an original 68-70 Corvette small block with a pump with provisions for external bypass. The GM #3782608 casting, which had no external bypass provisions, was used for all 1968-70 small blocks.
In addition, the date on yours indicates it was cast on January 3, 1964 or January 3, 1974. The 3839175 (and similar 3959326) casting was used for SERVICE waterpumps well into the 70's.
By the way, if your pump happens to have a 1/2" NPT bypass fitting (i.e. an original, non-converted 1964 pump), there are likely "1964-guys" that would like to have it.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
