61 Air Filter

Pulled my airbox completly out of the fuellie today.

Anyone ever see an air filter like this ?

Going to order a new one from Paragon.

Oil-wetted foam, much like original 62 FI air filter. For a time, the only kind of repro there was.

Thanks will bag and save it but seems like foam could detoriate and get sucked into engine.
Looks like paper was the origonal one.

Yes, 58-early 62 was paper, most of 62 was foam.

K&N element for 58 to Early 62 readily available. Too early in the AM. Can't remember the part number but think the K&N part # is E1935? Correct me please if this number is wrong.
Now this is the entire element. Not the later 62 style with the foam.

Thanks i saw a pic in the noland adams book as well.. Looks impossible to find. Paragon had them listed.. but does not come up when enterted inot site.
