    Braided Big Block Wires

Is Lectric Limited the only source for pre-assembled dated braided big block wire sets? I have heard some talk on M&H but they do not list spark plug wires as one of their products. Is there anyone out there making custom sets?

There should be a new source by March or April '13

If points are your concern, the issues during judging (with the repops) is the braiding and the spark plug end boots. The repops are only 2" long where originals are closer to 2 1/2". The braiding is, what I would describe as, too tight. If you purchase a set of original service date braided cables, you can then attach the original braids and boots to the repop wires. I've done that to several sets with good results.

Mark. I was going to replace the 9 year old Lectric Limited ones that I have currently installed. Maybe I'll sit tight until the other source is available in 2013.

Thanks for the info though on your solution.

              An old picture:

From an old thread. It was easier for me to find the picture than the thread.

For those who are interested, a print of the original sparkplug boot is attached.

Gray boots are too short on the ones on ebay.

Different location also. Last time I visited 'Lectric Limited was in Bedford Park. Ebay listing says location is LaGrange Park. About 7 or 8 miles apart. FWIW
