72 or any year Underhood clips

How can I replicate the rubber coating on various underhood and dash clips used to hold wires and/or vacumn hoses ?
    Thanks

    Ray,
I have not used this so wait for others to chime in.

      Hi Terry
What was the product name? I had the post reply But it dissappeared when I switched pages from other posts.
      Thanks

Hi Rey: I have used the "Plasti-Dip" for this type of thing and it works excellent.

Plasti-dip. It comes in a variety of colors -- on the chance you are doing a resto-rod. IIRC I got it from my local ACE Hardware store, but I have seen it in a lot of places.

            Hi Rey,
            I've used Plasti-Dip too.
I found that it took 2 'baths', with time to dry after the first bath, to get the thickness that my original pieces had.
Also, I learned to be careful to not get any air bubbles in the dip since they seem to want to come out on the dipped part. They then pop while drying on the clip and leave a little crater.
            Good Luck!
            Regards,
            Alan
