      There was an article in the Restorer Vol 24 #3 winter 1998 by Al Grenning that covered some of the reasons for substitution of major engine components. Another Restorer article was in the fall of 1996 involving the passenger car engines with factory grind outs going into 1967 327/300hp cars.

            Dick is correct. Took many of those lines off and on while working on trucks with air brakes. Low Cab Forwards were extra fun.
