Not sure how to link to the Corvette Forum, or if it's allowed, but anyway there's a guy on there with what he claims is an original tri power 427 block. Maybe this block can be re-joined to its original car. Here is the pertinent information: "This block came out of a 68 Corvette in South Florida, block has been stored for 30 years.
Stamped Engine pad numbers are T0227IM / 18S413415. I doubt that the pad was ever re stamped." "Inquiring to find out the value / good selling price for a 427 3916321 2 bolt main block? The block is stamped IM, indicating that the block was for a 68 Corvette 427 400 HP with 3X2BC, 4 speed.
Casting date is A18 indicating January 18, 1968.
Block has been tested and is a standard bore, 2 bolt mains."
