What is correct for a 66 corvette 327/350hp fuel pump # 40083 one with the cast metal on the bottom with ac marked or a flat metal one without the ac logo or both? Thank you

Re: 66 fuel pump
According to the 66 TIM & JG it is the one with the stamped steel cadmium dichromate plated bottom. I've been looking for one for a while and had a thread earlier if you check the link below

Re: 66 fuel pump
I have an original 1966 Nova w/L79 AC fuel pump stamped "40394" with a stamped steel bottom (photos in the link in Don's post). The angle between the inlet and outlet of a "40394" pump is 108 degrees while the angle between the inlet and outlet on a "40083" pump is 180 degrees.

Re: 66 fuel pump
Morris,
The fuel pump is not for sale. I was just posting information to verify that this style of pump had a stamped steel bottom in 1966. I bought the pump at a swap meet earlier this Fall in Connecticut for $5. After researching the web it's a very rare original AC fuel pump for a 1966 Nova w/L79.
