1956 oil pressure line with correct fittings help needed
Hi All,
I am in the process of trying to locate the proper line with fittings for my oil pressure gauge. I was priming oil system today on the engine in chassis and realized my oil line might have the wrong fitting on the engine side. The line looks correct but may have had a fitting change on the engine side. The judging manual only shows some male fittings, I have a female nut on the line with a compression ferrule. I assume this is not correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is what I have all wrong or do I just need an 1/8 in. npt male compression fitting that will connect to the nut and ferrule already on my line? Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
