70 underbody insulation

Getting ready to replace the transmission tunnel insulation and replace missing foam collar on the bell housing.

Seems to be a wide variation in price between vendors.

Is there more than one manufacturer?

Which one is best?

Saw an NOS one a year or so ago but he wanted $125.00 which I though was pretty steep.

The new tunnel ones - and the ones sold by GM - are made by Paragon.
So find the best price and go for it.

Bought a GM one in a box around 10 years ago and it had Paragon embossed into the top.

Hmmm- Very interesting.

Why does the Paragon site say the opening must be enlarged for use with a 4 speed. Rather how much does the opening need to be enlarged in the insulator. Won't this compromise the material?
