      Cont....part ID help on C2...

Can anyone tell me what these are?

3rd and 4th photo are of a bolt with a "WB" headmark with recessed head, 1/2" socket fits the head. Where does this go?

I have a pretty good idea of where they might go. I have been doing the same thing with all the bolts from a basket case where all the bolts for the car were in one bucket.
But first, what year car are you working on?
Also, how many do you have of each? The reason I ask this is, the same fasteners were used for a variety of things on the same car. Sometimes the number of fasteners points us in different direction.

If you want to send me your e-mail, I can send you lists of fasteners that other members have made. Between them all, it gives you a pretty good start.

Monte, per the middle anchor bolt have about 3 or 4 of those. The other 2 anchor bolts only have found one, each. The "E" head bolts I think are for mounting the hood, one however is longer than the rest as noted in the photo. Have 7 of the shorter E bolts, and just one of the longer E bolt.

Shot you a pm with my email address. Thanks for the reply!

            John,

The middle anchor bolt goes from the hood stay to inner fender (one of two) it's also used to attach the dash to firewall. The right anchor bolt goes from the hood stay to hood (one of two). Not sure about the anchor bolt on the left in your photo.

The longer 5/16 bolt goes from hood hinge to inner fender (one of two/ each side) and the shorter 5/16 bolt attaches the hood catch to firewall and both bolts are used to attach the splash shields at the inner fender and fender I believe.

What year? The clip in photo 1, lower left looks like one of the two that hold the temperature sender cable to the valve cover bolts on a '64

The brake lines MIGHT be the ones that connect the master cylinder to the brake fluid distribution block on a 1967.

The internal hex button head screw I don't know. Such fasteners were rarely, if ever, used on C2-C3 Corvettes.

John, The first pic (RSC w/washer)appears to be a radiator upper bracket bolt, or fan shroud upper bolt. a wild guess on the last bolt, Seat belt anchor bolt, it seems to have that configuration.

Re: Cont....part ID help on C2...

Doug, would the valve cover clip need a hole in it for the bolt/screw? If so, this clip does not have a hole, just a clip on each end. Let me know.

Anyone know what the "WB" headmark bolt is?

Thanks to all that have helped!

For the most part, all the mid year bolts are the same.
Did you figure out the WB bolts. Most are radiator support, unless they are big egough to be trans to bellhousing.
Again, I have complete lists if you need them.
