1972 LT1 Radiator overflow or expansion tank

I am restoring a 1972 LT1 which has the copper, brass radiator. Many parts were missing when I purchased the car.
The car is non-air. Did the car come with a plastic overflow, which I do have with no brackets, or an aluminum expansion tank?
    Pictures and discussion will help.
I can't seem to get good information from AIM, or any other publications that I have.
    Thanks,
    Jim

Jim, it came with neither. The plastic coolant recovery tanks first appeared for the '73 MY. Expansion tanks, aluminum or otherwise, were never used in combination with radiators having an integral cap such as yours.

      Thanks Michael,
That is why I couldn't find it anywhere.
I would appreciate receiving detailed pictures of a 72 LT1 engine bay without air. Pictures really help. My email is jimcufr@suite224.net
      Thanks again,
      Jim
